You are probably right, because if I get a recommendation from you that I give to a friend and they don't live up to standard of working effectively and
efficiently and dragging out the time which is pretty much the norm in Fiji, then I will end up gritting my teeth and thinking badly of your recommendation.
I recommended a lawyer for him that worked well in the past, but this time seems to have gone down the usual foot dragging path which was extremely costly with NO result, in fact a negative result. I feel bad because I recommended him and it is not fair for me to try and pass that responsibility off to you.
I just thought you might know a hot shot real estate attorney who could close a 4-6 week deal somewhere within that time frame. Too bad Jacinta of Munro Leys migrated off years ago, she was the best I have ever met in Fiji as far as efficiency and bottom lines. What usually takes 6 months to a year here she had wrapped up with a ribbon and approvals in two weeks time, I think that has got to be a record and believe me I didn't rush her, I kind of had it timed that it would take 6 months or more, which would have been fine to buy me some time. There were no hiccups, no excuses about being too busy, she stayed within the agreed fee, you couldn't ask for more from an attorney.
