The only chance for success today is employment in the army or overseas migration. I don't suppose that will be racially biased. It is very sad to think that these bright young students graduating as "dux" from schools in Fiji have only two opportunites, and neighther one of them will serve Fiji. These bright young kids are gone, gone for all time. The hopes and dreams of every child in Fiji will be to get out of Fiji to a nation where they can have self esteem, opportunities, human rights, and be part of the political process. Did Judas Voreqe ever think of that, as he misused the Fiji army and betrayed the People of Fiji to put his own pigs at the trough?

26/11/2008
Strive for success was the message delivered to the students of Indian College by the interim Education Minister Filipe Bole.

Speaking at the annual prizegiving ceremony at Indian College today Bole congratulated the students and advised them to try their best to excel.

"This is the building block for the students to decide what they want to do in future," he said.

"If they study hard then they can secure a bright future for themselves."

College principal Gulab Singh said it was an event to honour and reward students who had worked hard to achieve outstanding results.

Bole said the Education Ministry was proud to see youths in high school achieve outstanding academic results.
